1. Introduction
Welcome to RahetBelak ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). RahetBelak is an online marketplace that connects customers with licensed mental wellness practitioners for virtual sessions. By accessing or using our website at rahetbelak.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Platform.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" means the RahetBelak website, services, and associated features at rahetbelak.com.
- "Customer" means any individual who registers on the Platform to browse and book sessions with Practitioners.
- "Practitioner" means a verified, Lebanon-based mental wellness professional offering sessions through the Platform.
- "Session" means a video-based mental wellness appointment booked and conducted through the Platform.
- "Wallet" means the in-platform credit balance held by a Customer to pay for Sessions.
- "Commission" means the percentage of each booking amount retained by RahetBelak as a platform fee.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Customers
Customers may register and use the Platform from any country worldwide. There are no geographic restrictions on Customer registration. You must be at least 18 years of age to register as a Customer. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
3.2 Practitioners
At this time, RahetBelak only accepts Practitioners who are based in Lebanon. This restriction exists because our current payout infrastructure relies exclusively on Whish, a payment service available in Lebanon. Practitioners located outside of Lebanon cannot receive payments through our current system, and therefore cannot be listed on the Platform.
We are actively working to expand our payout options to support Practitioners in additional countries in the future. We will update these Terms and notify our community when new regions become available.
To be eligible as a Practitioner, you must:
- Be physically based in Lebanon.
- Fall within one of our accepted categories: NGNLP Practitioner or Psychologist.
- Provide accurate professional credentials and documentation as requested during onboarding.
- Receive approval from the RahetBelak administration team before your profile becomes publicly visible.
4. Account Registration and Verification
Both Customers and Practitioners must create an account to use the Platform. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Verify your email address as part of the registration process.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
Practitioner accounts are subject to an additional approval process. Submission of a practitioner profile does not guarantee approval. RahetBelak reserves the right to approve or reject any practitioner application at its sole discretion.
5. Practitioner Listings and Profiles
Approved Practitioners are responsible for the accuracy of their public profile, including their bio, services, session types, languages, and pricing. RahetBelak does not independently verify the professional credentials of Practitioners beyond the information provided during onboarding. Customers are encouraged to review practitioner profiles carefully before booking.
RahetBelak reserves the right to suspend or remove any Practitioner profile that violates these Terms, provides inaccurate information, or receives consistent complaints from Customers.
6. Booking and Sessions
Customers may browse available Practitioners, view their profiles, and book Sessions using their Wallet balance. A booking is confirmed once the Wallet balance has been deducted and a confirmation email has been sent to both parties.
All Sessions take place through the RahetBelak platform using our integrated video solution. Both Customers and Practitioners receive a secure, unique session link. No external video account or third-party application is required.
Customers and Practitioners are expected to be available at their scheduled session time. If a Practitioner is unable to attend, it is the Practitioner's responsibility to notify the Customer and RahetBelak in advance.
7. Wallet, Payments, and Fees
7.1 Customer Wallet
Customers must top up their Wallet in order to book Sessions. Wallet top-ups may be processed manually or through available payment methods displayed on the Platform. The Wallet balance reflects available credit and is deducted at the time a booking is confirmed.
7.2 Refunds
The following cancellation, no-show, and refund rules apply to all Sessions booked through the Platform. These rules exist to be fair to both Customers and Experts and to protect the time and commitment of everyone involved.
Cancellations
Either party may cancel a confirmed Session at any time. If a cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session time, a full 100% refund will be returned to the Customer's Wallet, regardless of whether the cancellation was initiated by the Customer or the Expert.
If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled session time, it is treated as a no-show under the rules described below, and the applicable no-show outcome will apply.
No-Shows and the 5-Minute Rule
A no-show is determined by a 5-minute waiting rule that applies equally to both parties. At the start of a scheduled session, both the Customer and the Expert are expected to join the session room promptly. Each party is required to wait a full 5 minutes before declaring a no-show. Neither party may leave before those 5 minutes have passed and claim that the other did not attend.
If the Customer does not join the session within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time, and the Expert was present and waiting, the session is considered a Customer no-show. In this case, the full session amount is paid to the Expert and no refund is issued to the Customer.
If the Expert does not join the session within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time, and the Customer was present and waiting, the session is considered an Expert no-show. In this case, the Customer receives a full 100% refund of the session amount back to their Wallet. Repeated no-shows by an Expert may result in suspension or removal from the Platform.
The same no-show outcome applies to any cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled session time. A late cancellation by the Customer is treated as a Customer no-show, meaning the full session amount is paid to the Expert. A late cancellation by the Expert is treated as an Expert no-show, meaning the Customer receives a full refund.
Technical Failures
If a Session cannot take place due to a technical failure caused by the Platform itself, the Customer will receive a full 100% refund. Technical issues on the Customer's or Expert's own device or internet connection do not automatically entitle either party to a refund. If you believe a refund is warranted due to exceptional technical circumstances, please contact us and we will review the situation.
7.3 Platform Commission
RahetBelak retains a percentage commission from each confirmed booking. The applicable commission rate will be made available on the Platform. The Practitioner's net earnings are equal to the session price minus the applicable commission.
7.4 Practitioner Payouts
Practitioners' earnings are tracked within the Platform and paid out manually by the RahetBelak team through Whish on a recurring schedule (either every 14 days or monthly). As noted in Section 3.2, payouts are currently only available to Lebanon-based Practitioners through the Whish platform.
8. Practitioner and Customer Responsibilities
8.1 Practitioners
- Maintain active and accurate profile information at all times.
- Conduct Sessions in a professional, ethical, and lawful manner.
- Comply with applicable professional licensing and ethical standards in Lebanon.
- Not solicit Customers to continue services outside the Platform.
- Notify RahetBelak of any conflicts, cancellations, or concerns promptly.
8.2 Customers
- Use the Platform respectfully and in good faith.
- Attend booked Sessions on time.
- Not record or share session content without the explicit consent of the Practitioner.
- Not misuse the Platform for harassment, abuse, or any unlawful purpose.
9. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is strictly prohibited on the Platform:
- Impersonating another person or entity.
- Providing false or misleading information in any profile, booking, or communication.
- Attempting to circumvent the Platform's booking or payment systems by conducting sessions or payments outside of RahetBelak.
- Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users.
- Uploading or transmitting unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with the Platform's systems.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, logos, design, graphics, and software, is the property of RahetBelak or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our written permission.
Practitioners retain ownership of the content they upload to their profiles. By uploading content, you grant RahetBelak a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
12. Disclaimers
RahetBelak is a marketplace platform that facilitates connections between Customers and Practitioners. We do not provide mental health treatment, therapy, or any form of clinical services. The content of any Session is entirely between the Customer and the Practitioner.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of technical issues. We are not responsible for the quality, effectiveness, or outcome of any Session.
In the event of a mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately. The Platform is not designed for emergency support.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RahetBelak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of earnings, or damages arising from Sessions conducted through the Platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to RahetBelak in the three months preceding the claim.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or acted in a manner that is harmful to the Platform, other users, or third parties.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Remaining Wallet balances at the time of account closure will be handled in accordance with our refund policy.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and notify registered users by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lebanon.
